What do you get when you put a bored teenage girl with nothing to do, and a huge staircase together? Complete chaos, well some would say that, others would say a very entertaining sight, and some would just say someone doing something stupid. Yeah, maybe the last one is the best, because if you saw Helena right now, you would say it was pretty stupid. Oh well, when it’s the middle of the afternoon and you don’t feel like going all the way up to your room to get one of your instruments, and have nothing else to do, you have to find something to do. So that’s what Helena was doing. Finding something to do.
Having been sitting on the stairs with her head in her lap for almost a half-hour, Helena had been getting bored. Slowly she had lifted her head upward, an idea suddenly coming to her. Maybe she should have brought something to do, or maybe she should have walked around the Hotel once again for absolutely no reason, since she already knew where everything was practically by heart now. But she had a plan, a very stupid one, but she had a plan. Making herself stand up, she brushed off her ripped jeans and black From First To Last t-shirt, her shoes were non-existent since she hadn’t bothered with them earlier. Black eyeliner outlined her eyes, matching her perfectly straight black hair, okay, so maybe it wasn’t perfectly straight, but it was close enough.
A smile creped onto her face as she started walking down the stairs at a steady pace, until she reached the last step. It hadn’t been that far, only about twenty steps. This is where the craziness started. As soon as she was at the bottom, she started jogging up the steps, going fast and faster as she went, until she was running up the steps. Okay, so maybe running up the steps was not the brightest idea in the world, and definitely not a smart choice for Helena who was extremely clumsy, but she didn’t care. Suddenly, her foot missed a step, and she was already much higher up that she had been before, but she started slipping backwards, and somehow when she started falling she fell on her back, and started sliding down the stairs, she just happened to be hardly touching them.
At first, she had been screaming as she fell, but it had soon turned into laughter. Why? Well, she actually liked it, she found it fun. Why anyone would ever find it fun who knows, but Helena sure did, and as soon as she was back at the bottom of the steps, she ran up them again, trying to go even faster than before. This time, instead of slipping, she made herself fall, and slide down the stairs. Oh the things you do when you’re bored, but at least she was entertained. But this time, the landing wasn’t as nice. Instead of landing nicely, she managed to hit the floor with a loud BANG! sound, and hit her head on the last step. Groaning, she just sat there, part of her wondering why she had just done that, the other part wanting to do it again.

Jaydn had been walking back to her room when she saw the falling down the stairs thing. She stood there for a while, watching for two reasons. One because it was hilarious and two because she was trying to think of a way to walk by and act like she hadn't seen anything. She did crazy stuff all the time and she always got really embarrassed when someone she hadn't meant to see her did. She was thinking about backing up and them coming back with really loud steps so the girl would have a heads up when she hit her head. "Oh my god," Jaydn said running over to where the girl was lying. "Are you alright ?" she felt like she should help her up but she didn't know if the girl should move. "Do you want me to get some help ?"

At first, Helena didn’t even notice that anyone had come over to her. But she was a little more preoccupied with the sharp pounding going on in her head. When the girl started talking, she realized that she was there. A smile creped onto her face, and she started laughing. “No, I’m perfectly fine. Trust me, I’ll be alright. I’ve had worse. And at least it’s not bleeding.” she told the girl, shaking her head. That wasn’t a good idea, shaking her head, it caused her head to hurt more, but she wasn’t going to mention that.
Helena’s smile curled into a smirk, a thought coming to her. Slowly she pulled herself off the ground and latched her arms around the girl, pulling her into a hug. Normally she did that before she started talking, but she would let it slide this time. Pulling back her smile returned again. “I do that to everyone. The hugging thing, not the falling down the stairs and hurting my head and making someone come running over to me thing.” she explained, not wanting to scare the girl with her hugging. “I’m Helena. You?” she asked, tilting her head slightly.

Jaydn laughed at the strange greeting. "I'm used to it. My friends do stuff like that all the time. It's sort of made me forget all about personal space," she said. She Was just happy she didn't have an unconscious person on her hands. "Jaydn. And I'm glad you're alright," she said. She couldn't keep from asking the question. " So, uh, what exactly were you doing before the fall ?" she asked.
