Quiet footsteps continued to fall upon the snow covered sidewalk as Hannibal watched the boy in front of him with very focused eyes, he was not letting this one out of his site, for he was enjoying the moments. He was walking on without a spoken word to anyone or anything. He looked as if he had something else on his mind as he wandered, then without notice he looked up and turned his gaze back to Hannibal with sharp narrowed eyes, but walked at the same time. Hannibal looked up at the other still, letting his cold brown, emotionless eyes glare back up at the boy.
Their gazes broke as he snapped 'Watch it!' in cold tones that came from nowhere. Hannibal saw that on there ground there was a girl. She was moving quickly to pick up all the book as the boy snapped at her. He gave her no chance to apologize and simply stared down at her while she attempted to get all her things out of the snow. As she finished picking up her things, she stood to her full height and spoke to the boy. Hannibal hadn't been paying close enough attention to hear her words, but by the look on her features it was not happy.
Hannibal stayed behind and never let a word pass through his cold lips. He stayed silent as the scene before him took place. The male started to walk again, trudging on through the snow when he dropped down to his knees. Hannibal watched him quietly. He grabbed a ball of snow and just held it in his hands as it he was examining it, then threw it somewhere in front of him, and let his cold eyes glare back at Hannibal.
His eyes were filled with the hard ice that had lurked within since he'd first laid eyes on this boy, but within the ice, was a different look. A sense neither of happiness nor of sorrow, not even anger, but perhaps... curiosity that had begun to take over those cold eyes? For he wondered what Hannibal was doing on a night such as this? Hannibal's dark and emotionless eyes gazed back at the boy. He felt no anger or no curiosity at this moment. Nothing could be seen in his deep and dark eyes. The boy rose then, his eyes never breaking their stare as Hannibal walked forward at his slow pace; the boy's eyes were daring Hannibal to try his best. A hungry vampire never passes up a good challenge.
Hannibal kept his pace the same, as he neared the boy who had now stood. The boy stood at a full height, but his height was a little different then Hannibal's, for he stood at an even 6 feet. The two boy's were only a few inches apart, but each had their own little specialties, with the other being werewolf and Hannibal being half vampire. He stayed back for a brief moment, slowing his pace enough to get a good look at the other. From a closer distance, he looked just as mean and his eyes just as daring. A smirk parted Hannibal's lips, and he lunged toward Brendan. Fangs aimed right at the left side of the boy's neck, and hands stretched wide to get him with a firm grip him and take him down fully.

Digging deeper
Personality:
Vulnerable;; As much as he doesn't want to believe, he's a very simple target. Granted, this isn't his fault for the lack of sight bumps this part of him up. He fairs well in a fight for being blind, but even still if someone dates to catch him off guard by coming behind him he has little chance in winning. He keeps his emotions hidden, keeping that side of him strong, but everything else he has little control of which allows him to be so vulnerable. He keeps a level head and doesn't let this get to him that often.
Calm;; He's not the type that likes to attract attention to himself so he does not make himself stand out in a crowd by being loud and obnoxious. He tends to keep a laid-back disposition and seems as though he's just going with the flow of life. The male doesn't seem to worry a lot, but inside his mind if terrified of so many things that if he did show his feelings someone would think a mental person escaped.
Intelligent;; He reads a lot, and has an incredible ability to take in information. His brain is like an ever growing sponge and he likes to learn all that he can. It doesn't matter what it is, but he learns as much as possible, just for the pure fact that he likes to learn. He'll openly admit that he likes such things as learning, but when he learns thing he doesn't forget them. For example, although he's blind he can distinguish people he knows from a crowd. There is a certain color that he can see for people/vampires, and when they approach he knows who they are. Even from a distance he can see this color, and it will never be forgotten.
Untrusting;; He doesn't trust anyone, never has and probably won't ever will. He's very careful about saying things to others just by the pure fact that he will probably never fully be able to know them. He's never allowed his heart to go out to anyone either. This is part of that trust issue for he doesn't want to be hurt. He knows how vulnerable he is, and if he falls for someone they can rip out the floor which he stands on and make him fall harder then imaginable.
Trustworthy;; He's true to his word, whether someone wants to trust it or not is their choice. He's never gone back on something he said, but has done his fair share of lying too. This is understandable since he has never known anyone that never lies, but he hasn't lied enough that his trustworthy reputation was ruined. He's a good secret keeper as well, and has only broken one secret in his entire life.
Careful;; Being blind has heightened all of his other senses, but this does not mean that he doesn't have to be careful. He is more careful then anyone he knows, but he acts normal while he does it. He doesn't want many to know that he is blind because that is a huge advantage to anyone that knows. He understands that most would probably think nothing of it, but there are some that would use that small factor about him to their benefit.
Patient;; He deals with his life just by one sheer fact. He has the ability to remain calm and be patient. He doesn't get frustrated that easily, and gives people more then one chance. This might be considered bad in some people's eyes because then they can use him. However, he can figure out that after too long, something is not going to happen. He gives a reasonable amount of time and deals well, but without patience he probably wouldn't be here today.

Personal history:
Being born blind is a curse within itself, but being born into a family with an abusive father was even worse. He and his twin Damien were only born because the man had raped their mother. Well, she cried rape, and he cried consensual sex. A seemingly biased jury allowed him off the charge and it was her choice whether or not to keep the children. She kept them on the count that he would kill her if she didn't. She kept them, gave birth to them and she died three years later. Mysteriously of course.
The two boys were kept by their father, and they grew up to have a somewhat happy life. They knew nothing of their mother and it was better that way for their father. He controlled their lives until they turned fifteen, when Damien ran away from home. He was doing horribly in school, and people teased him about his appearance [very overweight]. He had enough with everyone and told his brother where he was going, but made him swear not to tell.
Corbly only remembered that he was going to New York, but for there he didn't know. His brother had said that he had a few friends there and that they would accept him for who he was. It was a horrible parting for the brothers, but Damien left a few nights later, never to be seen again.
When the boy left, Corbly suffered greatly. His father knew that Damien had told him where he was going, but Corbly had promised not to tell, and so he didn't. He fought with the man a lot, and never told him where the twin had gone. He kept his lips sealed and no matter how much he was yelled at he just remained quiet. He didn't want to tell the drunk where his brother was, because he knew that he would just hurt Damien when he found the boy. He didn't want his brother to get hurt because he admired the courage. He was a strong guy, only at the age of fifteen when he left, but strong. Corbly wished he could be that strong, but a lot of things kept him from doing his best in life...
Finally, the fighting stopped and he just took his anger out on the sixteen year old male. He started to physically and mentally abuse him. He was hit regularly and assaulted mentally. The man wore Corbly down until he had a very low self esteem and then did the worst possible thing to the sixteen year old. He gave him alcohol, threatened him and raped him. He bullied his son into having sex with him by threatening to kill him. The scar on his chest from where the knife cut into him was very clear to this day. He could recall the feeling of the cold blade moving easily across the surface of his chest, and then having his hand forced to feel the cut. The gash was warm to the touch and the smell of blood had overwhelmed his senses.
For many weeks after that night, he didn't come out of his room, and blocked himself in his closet when the man came in to 'visit with him'. The abuse went on for the next few years, when he too ran from home. He couldn't take the feeling of being worthless and dirty. He felt so disgusting whenever in the presence of his father. He didn't like that feeling, and didn't like the thought of what he'd been forced to do to let his father have control or give the man that pleasure of power.
After he left he found himself lonely and did like being away from home but couldn’t bare the thought of going back to face his father. He wandered a lone hunger started to make him think about turning back before a friendly voice was heard from the inside of a car that drove up next to him. The voice had a southern tone to it, and spoke very softly, only loud enough for him to hear.
“Hey there, you look a little lost. Why don’t you come with me and we can get some food in that stomach?” the male spoke and reached out to grab Corbly’s hand. The young male at first jumped back, as the man’s color wasn’t there. He couldn’t find the color within him until he moved closer. He was alone, cold and hungry… so his mind was clouded with other thoughts then for his own safety. He got into the car and from that point on his horrible life turned itself upside down and sideways, to become even more horrible.
