"Oh my god. You're right," she said in horror. "I might actually have to make," she paused to gulp, "real friends. And those stupid doctors told me the pills would make me normal. Ha ! they don't know what they're talking about." she said. She had this one friend who was crazier than she was, and the girl was honestly insane. She would have days where she would just sit and stare at walls, and days when she would talk to herself. Sometimes she acted like a robot and other times she bounced off the walls. She was really fun to party with. Every now and then Jaydn would wonder if she needed some medication but she always told her that she was even worse with it. "You better watch your step. The future of your existance is in my hands."

"What do I have to do? Get on my knees and beg you not to take those pills?" he said, an acted as though he would seriously jump out of seat and beg for her not too. Then he laid back, a calm expression crossing over his features. "Nah, I know you don't want to go make real friends. So I'm safe." the obvious confidence sounded clear within his voice as he spoke those last words. Wow. Interesting conversation he was having with her. A little strange, but in a twisted way this was normal for him on a good day. On a bad day he would have blown her off, but he's had like three good days in a row. Now saying that, tomorrow was going to be an extremely bad day. He didn't usually go long with a good day streak. He had bad days all the time, and so far the hotel has been good, but boredom is gonna drive him into the ground.
Bad days were definitely not good. Yeah, that's stating the obvious a bit, but seriously. They were horrible. He blew everyone off within the first ten words they said to them, and if they made it longer then that it meant they had usually bored him to sleep so instead of listening he was sleeping while they talked. Other times a person couldn't get a word in edgewise because he was constantly bitching and swearing at how life was so stupid. He tended to seem bipolar when he was angry for his rage showed up so quickly. In other instances, people in his way just got hit... His roommate knew of those times.

"You're right. Everyone else is just too ..... normal," she shuddered. She was in a weird mood today, probably from drinking that coffee. It was really good though. "So you're safe. I decieded to spare you," she said in a gracious tone. "For today anyway." she added ominously. It wasn't too often she could find someone that got the jokes she made up. Most peole would look at her like she was crazy or just ask if she had taken her happy pills today. Then again, she didn't usually act like this infront of most people. This is how she acted infront of the friends who had known her since the sixth grade and got her weirdness. But none of them were here, so maybe the craziness had just built up. Oh well, she'd rather it come out here than somewhere else.

Trevor was comfortable around her. She wasn't weird to the point that she was bothering him, but she was weird to a point that made her interesting. It wasn't that she had nothing to say, or the things she did say were boring. No, she had good stories to listen to and had an insane mind like he did sometimes. I mean, no one pretends they are a murderer who hides their bodies in a public pool and eats them later... OK, so he can't say that because he is, but no one brings up such a thing at random like she had. It didn't happen unless there were other substances involved, but honestly, Trevor could say that he was clean today. He had a drink earlier this morning when they had been playing guitar hero, but that was all and it was bound to have passed through him already.
"Haha, well... I guess I will have to work up my brownie points then so I can stay even longer." the male spoke calmly, a smile shaping his features as he felt the cell phone against his stomach again. He picked it up to read the capital letters that filled the reply. A soft laugh escaped his vocals as his dark brown eyes scanned over before replying. the younger male was probably extremely unbalanced because of the simple fact that he was related to Trevor. It didn't help that he was extremely gullible as well. He replied back to the letters that simply said Trevor was disgusting and freakish. They also said that he would almost believe Trevor. He replied back by saying that he had pictures to prove it. Another text followed very quickly saying simply to leave him alone. Trevor replied back with a smiley face and goodbye.

"You better get to work on that. The other people in my head don't really like you," she said. "So what else do you do besides playing Guitar Hero and art ?" she asked. The weird stuff was getting to a point here it was a little scary. Not to her, but she didn't want to take it to an obsession. And all of her hyperness was wearing off so she was starting to get back to her usual mostly calm self. She had those moments where she was absolutly insane, but for the most part she was pretty chilled out. Not that anyone who wasn't used to her mood swings would know that.

"I see how it is. They all have to gang up on me because they are jealous of me." he said with a nod and listened to her other question. Hmm, what else did he do besides play guitar hero and make a million and one art projects that he had nothing to do with? Kill people... The thought lurked in his mind and he ran his fingers through his hair as if to distract himself from that thought. "Well-- I used to do track and tennis. Art kind of sucked up my life though because to be honest I suck at tennis, and although I was a pretty good when it came to distance running I could never win I was always a half of a second behind the fastest runner. It's a little shallow to say I quit because I couldn't win, but that's-- kind true..." he shrugged slightly as he tried to think of anything else that he did. He partied a lot if that wasn't already dearly noted, and he got himself into quite a bit of trouble whether it was intended or unintended.
He couldn’t really think of anything really interesting that he did. He was really involved in many art programs, he volunteered very rarely and used to play sports but could never win so he quit. He swam a lot, but never on a team because he'd always been too busy with his other sports and parties... "Hmm, I'm pretty boring. I can't really think of anything else-- Heh -- I'm a pretty boring person... That or else lazy, but lazy probably fits me. I party all night and sleep all day..."

She laughed at the jealousy comment and gave him a 'yeah... right' look. When he talked about quitting track because of not being able to win she nodded. "I would have done that. I get that it's not about winning, but I'm too competative to stay in something that I can't win," she said. She wasn't that way about everything, thank god. But with sports and other stupid things like that she did get a little too into it. In a crazy spend all her time thinking about it kind of way. "I used to do basketball until I accepted that I'm not getting any taller," she looked down at her 5'6" frame. She wasn't really short, but she wasn't tall enough to do the things she had done before everyone else got taller. It sucked being blocked by someone you used to tower over. "Well, at least I found one of the other nocturnal people here."

"Yeah, it ticked me off because usually I wasn't any more then a half of a second behind them. I was a well paced runner, but I wasn't good enough to beat anyone. I think there was one time that I beat someone, and my parents weren't even there. My coach was proud, but god damnit, they nag and nag about them always having a great high school sports career, and the one time I do well, they don't see it..." he shook his head showing the obvious disappointment. His father was mainly the one that nagged him, but c'mon. His mother could at least have been there. The two of them spent so much time fighting with each other that they completely blocked out the whole reason they were even married. They only got married because his mother got pregnant while his father was in Italy. Granted, that doesn't promise a stable relationship, but you at least have to be supportive of your child! A child's life is based on approval and support as well as love and stability.
"Ehh, I never liked basketball. Everyone assumed I should be good at it because I'm six feet and two inches tall, but height isn't everything in basketball. Although it counts for a lot, people have to have some skill in it, and I lack any type of skill needed to be at least semi-good." a chuckle left his lips as he finished speaking. You can't just assume that tall people are good at basketball, strong people are good at wrestling and fast people are good at soccer. You have to have even a small amount of skill to be able to start with if you have any hope of being able to play on a high school team. He looked over at her and smiled slightly. "There's probably more nocturnal people then just me... they are just all sleeping at this hour..." another soft laugh trailed after the words as he shrugged. He was always the one that stayed up the latest as those semi-innocent birthday parties people had before middle school. You know, where everyone brought sleeping bags and curled up in front of the TV with popcorn, snacks and drinks while they were all buttoned up in their nice pajamas. Those were the times before everyone lost their innocence and just came over to the party in whatever they were wearing and didn't care what they did.

"Mine always did the do what you like doing thing. I'd rather they push me into stuff. I respond well to that. Not always in the way people want me to, but I would have worked harder to get them off my back," she said. When she was pushed into something she either worked like they wanted her to, or shut down. Usually she just stopped responding, but for her parents she would have worked. "I liked it until everyone else got bigger than me. I used to be the tallest, but now I'm just average," she said, making a face. "I could catch the ball, pass it, and shoot, but my dribbling sucked. I would basically just wait under the goal for someone to pass it to me so I could score," she laughed. Thinking about nocturnal people made her start thinking a little strangly again. "Don't they have a Nocturnal People of America Organization we can join or something ? Cause I'm pretty sure I've seen a website somewhere." she said in her best dumb blonde voice. She used to be blonde when she was younger and had perfected an imitation of the stereotype to make her friends laugh.

"Yeah, I know what you mean. At first I didn't do so well in track, but then when my dad threatened to lock me in my room for a week if I kept skipping running practice... I didn't believe him, and guess where I found myself? Locked away in my room for a week and I didn't skip another practice. I got a lot better too because I was practicing daily. My dad was strict sometimes, but he got me to go to practice." he said with a soft laugh. He wasn't the kind of kid that stayed in the house a lot. He was out with friends constantly, and when his father had done that, Trevor had nearly lost his head. He'd been bored out of his mind, literally. He listened too her, but shrugged slightly, never really knowing that feeling. He was never the tallest, he was always right there in the normal height, maybe a little shorter, but he wasn't too far behind the group of boys his age. "Well, again, that puts you ahead of me. I have never been good at basketball. I can make the foul shot or whatever it's called, but that's about it. Now get me in a game of hockey, and I can kick some ass. I am great when it comes to hockey; on the ice or one the street--"
He looked at her and just stopped speaking as she blurted out the best stereotype voice for a dumb blonde he'd ever heard. He couldn't helped but laugh out loud as a tall, blonde girl from across the pool put her hands on her hips and pouted. It was the funniest thing he'd heard today, and there had definitely been some good stories told earlier. "Wow! Did you see her face as you said that? Ha! That was really, really weird, but funny as hell..." he said, covering his face with his hands and sighed as he laid on the bench at the poolside.

"Yeah, I did," she said laughing as she waved at the girl across the pool, acting like nothing had happened. The girl looked like she wasn't sure what she should do and finally just jumped into the water. Jaydn stared at her for a second, with a what's-wrong-with-you?- look on her face. The blonde caught that too and just turned red and kept swimming. She turned her attention back to Trevor and smiled apologetically while still laughing. "Sorry, if I can mess with someone I have to do it. One of those weird little things about me," she said. returning to her tanning. "I used to be blonde when I was younger, like bleach blode naturally, and everyone used to pick on me about it. So instead of getting mad about it I learned the voice and went with it. Now my hair's darker, but I'm still a little blonde at heart. Anyway, hockey, huh ? I've always been afraid I'd kill someone with the stick or something. I have that wonderful luck of causing accidents."

"It's cool with me, just glad I wasn't her. That girl's face was extremely red." he said with a laugh as his eyes followed her under the water for a moment, then he diverted them back to Jaydn who was speaking of when she used to be blonde. He'd naturally had dark brown nearly black hair like everyone in his family. He dyed it black because he had thought it looked better on him and it does. His hair naturally wasn't too far off from black so sometimes he forgets when he needs to recolor his hair. "That's cool. My hair naturally wasn't too far from being black, but I dyed it that way. I have some friends that would swear I'm naturally blonde..." the words were followed by a chuckle as they left his lips. He had his moments like everyone did, but he had the type of friends that would tease you whenever the moment was right. He got teased a lot for doing dumb stuff, but it never really fazed him.
"It's alright. Hockey is the sport that's made for violence. There aren't many rules that call for fouls and such when you slam people into walls and stuff like that. I love hockey, and even being smaller then a lot of the guys I played against I was the start player on an ice hockey team we had back home. I'm really fast on ice skates, and that made up since I was so light weight. At one point, I had to gain ten pounds before I was allowed to play on the team." he said with a soft laugh. He'd always been skinny but he ate like a horse. He could just pack food away like he was storing it all for the winter, and not have more then a pound put on him, if any at all. He was very active in his life and feared the thought of being overweight. He wasn't scared of it like say to drive him to such things as bulimia or anorexia, but he didn't want to be overweight. He'd fought with the coach for days before he finally tried to put on the weight. He'd only ended up gaining six of the ten pounds that he needed because the coach needed him to play.

"You have blonde moments , too ?" she asked. Most of the time she wasn't stupid, but every now and then she'd say something completly moronic and get stupid stamped. It was this thing she had invented to do to someone when they say something really stupid. She'd just smack them on the forehead, yell 'STUPID STAMP !' and run like hell. Since everyone had gotten stamped at some time or another, they were always waiting for her to slip up and have a blonde moment. "It looks like it's like that naturally," she said, looking at his hair color. She'd always wished she could get away with black, but it never looked right on her. Something about it just looked weird with her skin color. It sucked, but she liked her natural color too. "Those are my other reasons for not playing hockey. I tend to get squished and me on skates is never a good thing. I can mess up walking, me gliding along frozen water on thin strips of metal is a disaster."

"Oh yeah, who doesn't?" the young male questioned with a laugh as he thought of some of the stupid things he'd said. Usually he didn't say stupid things because a lot of the time he thought before he spoke. With his friends, everything could sound perverted so if you weren't careful your words would be followed by giggles and stretched out eww's when the wrong picture came to mind. He'd be lying if he said that he didn't think like that, but he did and often made his friends words sound like horrible things that should not be thought of... "Yeah, sometimes I even forget I need to recolor it. I notice after a short while, but it's so dark naturally that I almost didn't need to dye it. I wanted too though, because it would be different then anyone in my family. Everyone had dark brown hair, so I have black. At one point it was black and white with blue, but that didn't go so well..." the male shook his head, thinking of the horrible hair color. He didn't know why he'd done it. He'd just wanted something different and he didn't do different in small ways. It was big or nothing... "I will agree with you that ice skating is hard, but when your flying down the ice with the puck in reach then you'll balance just fine. I can't skate on the ice unless I'm going fast. Like, watching the people who skate in the winter in those large slow circles? I just can't do it." a shrug moved his shoulders a bit as he spoke.

"Have you ever been stupid stamped ?" she asked. That was stupid of course no one else did that. No one else thought of ways to give themselves exta brain damamge. She tried to imagine the strange hair color he described. She shook her head. "Can't see it, sorry. One time I dyed the ends of mine a bright blue, but that looked pretty cool. I only changed it back cause I got tired of having to spend an hour every morning trying to make it look right." She was lazy in the mornings and hated having to spend extra time before school on her hair. She usually did it in 15 minutes and got dressed in 5. She couldn't handly doing that all the time so after about five weeks she dyed the ends back to her regular color. "I stopped trying after I accidently cut the guy who was trying to teach me's leg open," she admitted. "I fell down and my leg went up and hit him right below the knee. He had a pretty bad gash and we had to go to the hospital to get it sewn up," she finished with a wince.
